FAQ
We know what it's like to try anything for the first time  - the curiosity, the anxiety, the questions... So, since
we were once first time guests too, we have come up with some questions you might have before visiting us.
1. What kind of church is this?

We are a non-denominational Christian church uniting people from diverse backgrounds (Catholics, Protestants, the
spiritually curious but skeptical, atheists, etc.) into a fun loving church family. North Shore is a place designed to
serve both Christians and those who consider themselves spiritual inquirers. It's a safe place for people who are
looking for answers to their spiritual questions, and for those that simply want to check out Christianity without
anyone pressuring them. It's also a place where those who have decided to follow Jesus Christ can learn and be
encouraged in their spiritual growth. You can learn even more by attending a
Launch Point class!

2. What should I wear?

You're free to wear whatever makes you feel most comfortable!

3. How long will the service last?

55-65 minutes.

4. What will the service be like?

We invite you to help yourself to coffee or tea and a doughnut or bagel as you settle in. During worship services,
we enjoy contemporary music and practical messages aimed at real life issues, used to present the timeless truths
of scripture at an introductory level easily understood by spiritual beginners and seasoned followers alike.

5. Will I have to say anything, sign anything, give anything, or be singled out in any way?

Rest assured that you won't be put on the spot, singled-out or embarrassed. Though we do receive an offering, we
don't want anyone to feel obligated to give. We do like to collect some basic information from people on the Care &
Communication Card in your bulletin, but if you'd prefer not to, that's alright with us. For security reasons, we
require some basic information if you decide to put your children in one of our classes.

6. What about my kids - do they come in with me, or is there something going on for them?

Our Kids Klub program provides loving care and education during both services in classes from birth up to 5th grade
and it ROCKS!

7. Is this a Christian church, or something else?

Though non-traditional in style, we are deeply committed to the eternal truths of the Christian faith. Our vision is
simple - to create a healthy, contagious community of Christ followers. Our mission is equally clear - loving people
the way Christ loves us and showing them how to love Him and each other!

8. Where and when are the church's services?

We are located at 120 Kroemer Avenue in Riverhead, behind the Kiddie Academy building.
We offer two services each Sunday at 9:35am and 11:05am.
